Italy 3 - 1 USA Video Higlights

Overall I thought this was the best the US has played all year, even with a man down (oh yea, fuck you ref. Honestly that was the softest red I've ever seen. Whenever we play Italy we always get a soft ass red that ruins the game.) Ultimately a strong performance wasn't enough as things were again ruined by the ref vs Italy and they eventually succumbed to two tremendous strikes from Rossi(Fucking traitor.) and Derossi.

In my opinion I thought everybody presented themselves well, and there was little to not like about the effort put in by the Americans. What do you think? Did they play well? Do they have a shot vs Brazil on Thursday?

Bad Refereeing: '78 World Cup Sweden Vs Brazil

Oh man is this a good one. Back in the 1978 World Cup Brazil was playing Sweden and Zico scores as in extra time as time is running out but the ref disallows the goal saying that time ran out. WHO DOES THAT! Man this ref should thank every god ever, basically just adopt polytheism, for getting out of that stadium without getting killed let alone seriously injured.

Bad Refereeing: The Greatest Dive in The Universe

For this weeks Bad Refereeing, I'am proud to bring you what I consider the greatest dive in the universe. This is just too good to not watch over and over again. I understand the team being mad at the ref, but why not try to destroy the linesman as well? Instead of correcting the ref he sat there with his flag up his ass doing nothing.

Ultimately I think it's only fair that this ref and the diving player be drawn and quartered or publicly humiliated in some fashion. I think that's the only way those players will be able to move on from that game without taking their anger out on some random person and killing him.

Ref Blows Match For Liverpool; MLS Refs Impressed By Level Of Suckitude

In a refereeing performance which could be compared to those seen in over 30 rec league matches, referee Rob Styles cost Liverpool 3 points by awarding Chelsea a dubious penalty kick and in turn got himself pulled off of a match this upcoming weekend. As I watched this game I got him confused with one of the refs who used to ref my summer league games in high school, meaning he was one of those refs who couldnt cut as a player so he bacame a ref who became too involved in the games he was reffing, therby becoming a shitty ref. The most suprising thing to me is how Styles made it out of Anfield alive........I thought every fan in "the kop" would rush the field and maul his ass to death before he could escape. On another point, I think MLS should look into doing the same thing, punishing shitty reffing performances, but the problem is that if they took a ref off of a game they would probably get a shittier one to replace him because if they had a "better" one he probably would have been working the game anyway.
