According to the associated press out of Germany, Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones is switching allegiances to play for the US national team, effective August '09. Personally I know nothing about the guy and how good he is but he seems to be getting plenty of minutes for Schalke so he can only help the national team. The only thing is that he plays defensive mid and god knows we need another person in that position. What do you think? Will Jermaine Jones be a great help to Bob Bradley in the future?

Schalke's Jermaine Jones to Play for USA?
According to the associated press out of Germany, Schalke midfielder Jermaine Jones is switching allegiances to play for the US national team, effective August '09.
